Mohali development body starts e-auction of 42 prime sites worth ₹5,460 crore
Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (Gmada) will auction 42 prime sites worth Rs 5,460 crore from January 14 to February 11. This online mega e-auction aims to rationalize property prices, ensure transparency, and attract investors for residential, commercial, and institutional development. The initiative is part of the state government's strategy for planned urban development and economic growth.
The first mega e-auction of 2026 will be held from Jan 14 to Feb 11.
The minister said the auction is part of the Bhagwant Singh Mann govt's strategy to rationalise property prices, ensure complete transparency, and promote investor-friendly policies to attract homebuyers, entrepreneurs, and institutional investors.
